   Mission Statement
Our Mission revolves around developing young athletes to excel on the floor as athletes and more importantly, as good students and upstanding members of the community off the floor. We believe that an athlete’s dedication to the sport is reflected in their educational commitment, physical preparation and well-being, work ethic, respect for coaches, opponents, referees, and in all facilities that competition takes place.

The Detroit Mission Stars program will not be measured by their trophy count, but how they develop into young adults for the tough challenges of today’s society. We believe that through athletics and a solid team concept, this can be achieved. The Detroit Mission Stars Code of Conduct is to be upheld to the highest standards by all involved with the Organization - players, coaches, managers and parents! We will hold all members of the Organization to a strict tolerance to uphold our values of this game and WILL NOT let winning over shadow our goal.
